What’s a life achievement you are particularly proud of?
"My Blackbaud Certification, of course!"

What’s one memory that always makes you smile?
"One year the staff at Fresh Start did a flash mob for our CEO's birthday. It was fun!"

Tell us about your organization: "Fresh Start Women's Foundation's mission is to empower women to transform their lives through education and engagement. Programs and services focus on three core values: economic self-sufficiency, education and personal development. Fresh Start’s services are free or low cost and are available to any woman over the age of 18. Whether a woman is going through a divorce, just became unemployed or is looking for something new in her life, Fresh Start is dedicated to supporting women who want to thrive."

What’s a typical day like for you? "I don't have a typical day, but I generally sit at the computer and use Raiser's Edge for most of my day."
What’s the best part of your job? "The best part of my job is doing something I enjoy at an organization that contributes to our community in a meaningful way."

What advice would you give someone starting out in the non-profit field? "Be prepared to wear many hats!"

What do you love about the Blackbaud Community? "The Blackbaud Community is a fantastic resource when you need a question answered by people who are in the same field. I use it often."

If you were a sandwich, what kind of sandwich would you be? "I would be a PB&J sandwich because they are substantial and travel well."
