About Tasha:
Tell us about your family (fur babies count!) "Although I live in a city other than where my extended family lives, I have a few close friends who are like family." Where do you live? "Winston-Salem, NC." What do you like to do for fun? "I am huge moviegoer, an art museum volunteer and a big NFL fan. I also enjoy going to outdoor events: concerts, films, festivals etc.. Basically, if's free or cheap and outdoors, I want to go." What’s a life achievement you are particularly proud of? "I am really proud that, in the past, I have given handmade Christmas gifts to family and friends. It was a big accomplishment, fun to work with my hands, and meaningful to give someone something I made." |

What advice would you give someone starting out in the non-profit field? "I would say to someone new in nonprofits: make it your intention to listen to colleagues and resources as much as possible. Even it if means, setting an appointment on your calendar to read blogs, attend webinars, or have informational interviews with a colleague. Make learning a priority." What do you love about the Blackbaud Community? "I really appreciate the people and the resources shared in Blackbaud Community. I am one of the only staff members that steadily uses eTapestry. So it's nice to turn to others online and learn best practices and strategies to effectively help my organization." |

What is one interesting fact about yourself most people don't know? "I listen to a variety of podcasts almost every single day: Fresh Air, Morning Joe, The Diane Rehm Show, The Ringer NFL Show, Nonprofit Leadership Podcast, HBR IdeaCast, PGA Replay, Driving Participation Podcast, Nonprofits are Messy, Face the Nation, Meet the Press, Raise and Engage, On Point, This is Your Life with Michael Hyatt, Nonprofit Leadership...I could go on! :)" |

Finally, if you were a sandwich, what kind of sandwich would you be? "If I were a sandwich, I would be a turkey sandwich with mayo, lettuce, tomato and cranberry sauce. At first glance, it looks pretty basic. But upon closer inspection, there's a little something fun and festive in there." |
