About Joanne: Tell us about your family (fur babies count!) "I have a large extended, Italian family whom I moved back to the East Coast (previously living in Pacific NW) to be near. I live with my best friend and our three cats and her dog." Where do you live? "Boston, MA." What do you like to do for fun? "Play games (rummikub, bananagrams, kitty whist, cribbage), read, watch movies, hang out with friends."
	What’s a life achievement you are particularly proud of? "Restarting my life three times - first East coast to Oregon, then Oregon to Seattle, then Seattle back to East coast." What’s one memory that always makes you smile? "Two weeks in Australia - holding a koala, feeding kangaroos, riding a camel, walking around Sydney, a barbeque in the outback, Ayers rock - such a lovely time." What is one interesting fact about yourself most people don't know? "I still have three baby teeth."
Tell us about your organization: "The mission of Fenway Health is to enhance the wellbeing of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and all people in our neighborhoods and beyond through access to the highest quality health care, education, research and advocacy. We provide the highest quality care for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay and regardless of how they choose to define themselves." What’s a typical day like for you? "As most of us in a DBA role, it varies day by day. Typical items include list pulls, data analysis, lots of excel and questions from gift officers." What’s the best part of your job? "Knowing I am part of an organization that is making a difference in people's lives - treating everyone with dignity, providing a platform and place for growth."
	What advice would you give someone starting out in the non-profit field? "Search your heart and find your passion - what is going to make you proud to get up each day and face what is before you. There is always stress in life but at the end of the day is what you are doing worthwhile to you." What do you love about the Blackbaud Community? "Everyone is willing to help out. We face similar challenges and can provide insight if we have worked through the same thing that someone else is facing."

Finally.. if you had 24 hours before the asteroid hit.. what would you do? "Take friends/family to the Oregon coast and feed the seals."
