Blackbaud Hosting Services Communication Procedures

Published
Are you ever curious about Blackbaud Hosting Services’ notification procedures? We send email communications notifying our customers of scheduled maintenance or any issues that could potentially affect their organization. Maintenance notifications follow the following schedule:

  • Standard maintenance notifications are sent at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Extended maintenance notifications are sent 30 days in advance. Product version upgrades are an example of an extended maintenance.

For potential issues, emails are sent when the issue is reported and resolved, and update emails are sent regularly to keep you updated.

All communications also contain a Blackbaud Event Notification (BEN) number to use for reference if you need to contact Support with any questions about the message content.

If you are not receiving these emails or have questions about how the email distribution lists are determined, please see our previous post, How to Receive Communications from Blackbaud Hosting Services.

If you have questions, please create a case on Case Central, choose your product, and select the Blackbaud Application Hosting topic or contact our Hosting Support team using our chat feature.
