Hosting Services Refresher: Password Management

Protecting your data is one of the Blackbaud Hosting Services team’s top priority.  With that in mind, we wanted to share the requirements and some additional information for passwords to access your hosted applications.

We’ve instituted fairly complex password requirements, which must meet several criteria.  Requirements are covered in the follow Knowledgebase solution: What are the Blackbaud Hosting Services password requirements?

Users will also be locked out of the Citrix portal for 30 minutes after entering 5 consecutive incorrect passwords.  If this happens to your users, check out this Knowledgebase solution to remove the lockout:

How to unlock a Blackbaud Hosting Services account?

The password for the Hosting Services portal can be reset either through the Hosting User Administration area or through the Blackbaud.com website. Note: If you receive any errors while resetting the password, please confirm that it meets the password requirements listed at the beginning of this post.
