Tips for Successful Printing from Blackbaud Hosting Services

If you have ever had any questions about printing, you may find the tips and tricks in this blog post helpful to ensure you are able to successfully print from Blackbaud Hosting Services.

  1. If your organization has both an Edge product and a Blackbaud NetCommunity or Online Campus Community product, make sure you are only printing from the regular The Raiser's Edge/The Education Edge/The Financial Edge icon. The Blackbaud NetCommunity/Online Campus Community plug-in servers are not configured for printing.   2. Install the latest version of the Citrix Receiver, which includes printing fixes developed by Citris. The link automatically directs you to the Windows download. Mac users will need to also click ‘View other devices’ and select ‘Mac’.
  3. Windows users can use the Citrix Universal Printer (CUP) option for printing. The Hosted session only maps the user’s default printer during the log in process.  The CUP not only allows you to preview your document before printing, it also allows you to select other network printers mapped to your workstation without logging out and back in. You can also choose the option to print to a PDF document. For more information on using the CUP, including screenshots, see the post, Hosting FAQ: Printing.
