Your Ideas In Action!

Published
As many of you already know, we’ll be hosting our bi-annual Blackbaud NetCommunity Product Roadmap Webinar on Wednesday. Naturally, a good deal of that time will be spent previewing the new features that will be coming your way in the 7.1 Service Pack 1 release. However, we’d like to give our community members a special sneak preview of two pieces of functionality that will be included in Service Pack 1 because your feedback was instrumental in our decision to include these features in this release.

The first feature that you can expect to see in the upcoming release is Email Subject Line Merge Fields. This will allow NetCommunity users to send emails with personalized subject lines. Email Subject Line Merge Field was originally proposed this past November and was voted on 29 times by peers in the community.

The second feature we included that finds its origins in the Customer Community idea forum is the Events Attendee List. This list will allow your members to see who’s planning to attend an event before they register.

Thanks to everyone who’s taken time to share their own ideas or provide feedback on those suggestions. There are still plenty of ideas from our customers that we haven’t been able to implement, so please consider taking some time to check out the Ideas Forum to share your feedback on which proposed features would be most valuable to your organization!

The Event Attendees List is not something any Canadian clients would be able to use - privacy legislation would make that one a big no-no.
