The Road To Blackbaud University Day: It’s Your Time To Shine

As an educator, there are moments when you know that your job is just to get people talking—and then get out of the way. I saw those moments everywhere I looked last year at bbcon 2016.As a Blackbaud University instructor, I have the opportunity to lead Learn Lab sessions and Nonprofit Workshops at our annual bbcon events. Each year, I come prepared to share my software proficiency and my expertise in the nuances of the nonprofit world. And each year, I leave bbcon with a range of ideas for solutions and strategies to share with others. I also leave with a vast new network of connections in the nonprofit world, who I can look to for further inspiration.
I can’t wait until this coming October when I’ll get to bask in that same energy and excitement at bbcon 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland. And this year, Blackbaud University gets its very own day to shine—on Oct. 16 at Blackbaud University Day!

Whether you want to hone your professional skills or become a power user of your Blackbaud software solution, there’s a Learn Lab session to satisfy your curiosity. And though I can’t wait to possibly meet you as your instructor in a Learn Lab session or Nonprofit Workshop, I’m hoping you’ll make time to get into one of my colleague’s sessions (I know I’m going to attend as many sessions as I can!). My colleagues continue to inspire and amaze me with their knowledge and presentation skills—and I really enjoy seeing each of them connect with people and raise excitement for exploring new ideas and developing new skills.
