Did you feel the energy coming from Baltimore yesterday? Yesterday was a HUGE day as bbcon 2017 officially kicked off!
As an added bonus, I invited two previous Robert C. Hernandez winners, Sunshine Watson and Amy Dana, to share their favorite social media moments with the Community.
First though, let’s talk about that morning main stage session:
To start the day, we heard a beautiful spoken word piece by Michah Bournes:
Next, we heard from Mary Beth Westmoreland and Catherine LaCour for the Innovation AMA on the mainstage. If you all couldn’t tell by the tweets, they are inspiring to every woman watching:
After that, we heard from the ALS Association and their powerful story around the now famous #IceBucketChallenge.
