Each year Blackbaud awards 10 bbcon scholarships to nonprofit professionals who exude a passion for learning and want to propel their organizations’ missions forward. bbcon opens the door for professional growth through hands-on training, networking opportunities, and interactive demos.

What does a bbcon scholarship include?
Scholarships for bbcon 2018 include a complimentary registration to bbcon 2018, inclusive of supporting events, meals (breakfast and lunch), evening events, and conference materials. In addition, Blackbaud will cover the costs for the top three scholarship winners’ hotel expenses for three nights.

How do I apply for a bbcon scholarship?
Applying for a bbcon scholarship requires the following:

Summary of your organization’s mission statement.
One 3-5 minute video submission. Videos must be submitted as a URL through our online submission form.

Tell us about your organization, why you want to go, and how bbcon can help your organization further its mission. There are no limits, so be creative!

When is the submission deadline?
Your complete application must be received no later than Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

When will winners be announced?
Winners will be chosen by the bbcon Scholarship Committee and will be contacted no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on August 15, 2018.

Chimp Haven has used Blackbaud for many years but never attended BBCON. We are hoping to submit our video and application for consideration. We'd love to meet everyone, get connected with other users, and learn from super users out there! Thanks for the opportunity for those like us with small training budgets!

I'm much more of a behind the scenes person but with the help of a very talented team member we came up with a video I'm pretty proud of (even if I don't win a scholarship I now know I was basically made to be on camera ;) HAH okay maybe that's a stretch but still).
