Blackbaud University Day: Meet Your Instructor Nate!

Hello! My name is Nate Hug and I’m a Blackbaud Instructor based out of Manhattan, New York. You’ve possibly seen me in one of your Financial Edge or Luminate Online courses. In a few short weeks, I’ll be trading the fall foliage of Central Park for some palm trees as I head down south to Orlando, Florida to participate in Blackbaud University Day at bbcon 2018.
Not only does University Day provide some top-notch courses, but a side benefit is the ability to learn from those around you. During class sessions, you’ll be surrounded by people who use the same software, are like-minded, and have the same passion for nonprofits. Utilize these people! Are you having trouble reconciling? The person sitting next to you could have an idea or process that could revolutionize the way you work in the software. Do you need an idea about how to format a report? Maybe the person you meet at the University Day Networking Reception has the answer. As an instructor, I’ve continually seen small conversations lead to big results.
This year, I’ll be teaching a great group of sessions that not only focus on common topics, but on topics that answer a lot of questions I’ve heard from product users:
