The Applications page will be replaced by the Blackbaud Marketplace by the end of July 2021

The Applications page is where customers (specifically environment admins) go to browse, connect, and disconnect apps to their environment. This page is typically found under Control panel > Applications within Raiser's Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT, Church Management and Education Management, but can also be linked to directly from our SKY API documentation.

After the Applications page has been removed from the navigation menu, the environment admin needs to use the Blackbaud Marketplace to connect applications. The Blackbaud Marketplace has a “Manage” page that enables environment admins to sideload applications that are not listed on the Blackbaud Marketplace. They can do this by connecting the application with the Application ID provided by the developer.

This change provides a consistent entry point across products for connecting and managing SKY applications and reduce redundant functionality between the Application page and the Blackbaud Marketplace.
