RE Mobile 3.0 Release Announcement - UPDATED

I am happy to announce that the newest version of RE Mobile has been released as generally available in the Apple App Store! Feel free to search for "Blackbaud" or "The Raiser's Edge" in the Apple App Store or download the app directly from the folloing link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-raisers-edge/id548645490?mt=8 
 
The app itself has been thoroughly tested and received very positive reviews during our Early Adopter Program (during which more than a dozen organizations installed this new version to help us test the final builds against their live data). We are excited to now open it up to the world and look forward to hearing your feedback about the changes.
 
This new version of RE Mobile is a totally re-platformed and re-designed version of the existing RE Mobile application. It leverages Blackbaud’s latest mobile platform and the Mobile SKY User Experience (SKY UX) to deliver a new and improved experience for new and existing users of the app. We’ve also added support for Android tablets and fixed those app crashes that were preventing users from adding actions in the app.
 
Here are a couple before and after images to give you a feel for just how the user experience has been changed:

Important information:
Regardless of what device you are using it on, when the new version is installed, you will need to re-enter your System key, User name, and Password information. Please make sure you have these readily available before installing to prevent disrupted service. If you do not know this information, please retrieve it from your existing app’s login screen or contact your database administrator for assistance.
 
For existing RE Mobile for iPhone users:
The new version of the RE Mobile application will install as an update to the existing application. If you do not have automatic updates configured on your iPhone, you will need to open the App Store on your phone and go to Updates to install the new version.
 
For existing RE Mobile for iPad users:
The new version of the RE Mobile application will need to be installed as a new application. Please open the App Store on your iPad and search for “Blackbaud” or “The Raiser’s Edge”. Once installed, feel free to delete the old RE Mobile application from your iPad. At some point in the near future, the old application will cease to function.
 
For existing RE Mobile for Android phone users:
The new version of the RE Mobile application will need to be installed as a new application. Please open the App Store on your iPad and search for “Blackbaud” or “The Raiser’s Edge”. Once installed, feel free to delete the old RE Mobile application from your iPad. At some point in the near future, the old application will cease to function.
 
For all new users, please visit the app store relevant to your mobile device (Google Play for Android & Apple App Store for iOS) and search for “Blackbaud” or “The Raiser’s Edge” to find the app. If your organization has not yet enabled the RE Mobile service or generated a system key, you will need to do so in order to use the app. For more information, please see How to install the Mobile Service so RE Mobile can be used.
 
We certainly hope you agree that this is a much improved version of the RE Mobile app and we look forward to delivering new enhancements to make it even better in the future!
