Update: Raiser's Edge 7.96, Patch 7

Happy holidays, Raiser's Edge Community!

Please be advised we have made the decision to forego releasing Patch 7 for Raiser’s Edge 7.96 for the remainder of our hosted data centers and local install.  
 

This decision was made due to several factors including the timing of the release (specifically its proximity to end of year giving season) and potential risks identified with the update. Customers potentially impacted by the identified issues have already been notified directly, but we determined it necessary and responsible at this time to prioritize consistency in Raiser’s Edge and our hosted environments over the potential benefits that this update would provide.

We will be working to get the changes contained in Raiser’s Edge 7.96, Patch 7 into the next patch which will be deployed as quickly as we can in a responsible and non-impactful manner. We apologize for any confusion and for any inconvenience that our decision to delay deployment of this update may introduce. We want to assure you that this decision is being made with the best interest of our customers and users in mind and wish you all the best with your end of year fundraising activities.
