What's New (March 31)

Published
Good afternoon! We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and hanging in there. Many of you are holding church gatherings online which adds interesting challenges to an already difficult situation. To help things a little, small group leaders can now easily communicate with their groups about virtual meetings. Check it out below!

Virtual meetings for small groups
To comply with recent stay at home requirements, many small groups are meeting online using virtual meeting services such as Zoom or Google Hangouts. Small group leaders can now quickly share online meeting links with their group participants from MobileMission or their small group leader pages.

To share the virtual link:
  • From the leader’s small group page, the leader adds the link to the virtual meeting in the primary meeting’s Location field.

Note: If the primary meeting is held at a physical location and online, the leader should enter the location description and meeting link in the Location field.

  • In MobileMission, the leader goes to Small groups and then selects Share meeting link. They can copy it to share in another application, such as Facebook, or choose the recipients and share it through a text or email message.

  • From their small group leader page, the leader selects Share meeting link. They can copy it to share in another application, such as their text messaging app or Facebook, or choose the recipients and send it in an email message.

For more information, see Share a virtual meeting link.

Events calendar
To help you easily see all your church’s daily events, such as worship services and Sunday school classes, you can now switch the calendar in Events to a day view. Previously, the calendar was only available as a month view.
