MobileMission
For those of you trying out MobileMission, you can now display a church description in the About Us section of the home page for logged in users. The description can include important details such as your vision statement, service times, and livestream link.

From Tools, Settings, select Congregant Experience. Under Church description in MobileMission, select Set church description and then enter and format the description.

Forms
In preparation for upcoming features in Blackbaud Church Management, the Email signup form is now the Communication form. Also, new permissions are available to help you manage which users in your church can create, edit, and publish the form.

From Control Panel, Security, create a new user, or select Manage roles next to an existing user. Under Communication form designer tasks, select Manage Communication Form Designer to assign access to view and edit communication forms. For more information, see Communication Form Security.

Lists
To help you narrow down a list of constituents to those who meet certain criteria, you can now filter records to exclude spouses that are not the head of household.

Note: The list will still include constituents who are unmarried and have spouses who are not constituents.

On the constituent list, select Filters, Constituent basics. Under Household, select Include head of household only. Select Apply filters. For more information, see List Filters.

Giving

You can amend a recurring gift from its record:

• To upgrade or downgrade the gift, select Amend gift amount from the top of the record, then increase or decrease the amount.

• To edit the payment information for the gift, select Amend under Payment information, then enter the updated information.

When you amend a gift, details about the change, such as any previous values and amended values, appear in the recurring gift’s history. Any changes you make apply to future installments; recurring gift payments that have already been processed remain unchanged. For more information, see Recurring Gift Amendments.

Note: In future releases, you’ll be able to add other types of amendments through the web view, such as to update a recurring gift's payment schedule.
