I'm so happy to announce the online directory has released in Blackbaud Church Management!

Directory
Portal and MobileMission users can now access an online church directory to search for other congregants and view their family and contact information. From Tools Settings, Feature configuration, you can enable the directory and choose who's included and what information to display for them by default. From their portal profile or MobileMission Settings, a user can update their preferences to opt out from the directory or hide/share information.

A directory listing can include:
  • Profile picture

  • Family members (Includes these relationships: wife, husband, spouse, domestic partner, head of household, daughter, son, foster child, and step child)

  • Primary phone number

  • Primary email address

  • Primary mailing address

Tip: If a congregant wants to opt out but doesn't have access to the portal or MobileMission, remove them from the constituent list you use to populate the directory.

Note: To avoid confusion and better reflect its purpose for admins, the Directory area in Constituents is now called Contacts.
