New Functionality - Enrollment Types

Published
Enrollment Types Support Updates

A few weeks, despite everything else going on, we quietly released support for Enrollment Types to customers sites. This new feature enables schools to configure specific enrollment types and assign them to student enrollments in the SIS and define different tuition charges for the different types of enrollments if you are using Blackbaud Billing Management.
Leveraging the Enrollment Types support in the SIS will enable schools to simplify course management for their faculty by automatically handling things like grade conversions to Pass/Fail for students who are, for example, not enrolled in a course for credit. You can also establish, independently, rules for credit, attendance, and grading.

If you’re using Blackbaud Billing Management with your Education Management tools, you can use Enrollment Types to vary tuition rates for students based on their enrollment. If your institution charges a different rate for students who audit a course, for example, or continuing professional development, you can now simply set that up one time by enrollment type and any student enrolled in a course with that type will be charged the correct amount.

We know this is a busy time for many and that you may be focused on other priorities. If you have a chance to explore the new features though, we’d love to hear your feedback. You can join the conversation here, send me an e-mail at timothy.hildreth@blackbaud.com, or you can contact support if you need any help.

I really appreciate the enrollment types!  What I want now, though is for enrollment types (especially Auditor) to show up on faculty rosters. As it stands now, I don't believe there is any way for them to see who is an official auditor vs credit student, and it is good for them to know who to expect assignments from, etc.
