Excel or Power BI Reports using OData

Our Education staff has asked for multi-day rosters formatted in a very specific way. I am able to create a query that has all of the data, and organize it in Excel using a pivot table. However, they want this to be an automated report. Has anyone created automated reports in Excel using OData? If so, any information on how you did that would be really helpful. Blackbaud has also mentioned that Power BI reports are used by many Altru users so if you have any experience with that, I would be really interested in hearing it. I would also be interested in contracting out this work if anyone knows someone who does this sort of thing.
