Revocable Living Trust Donations
Hello, we don't typically receive gifts from Revocable Living Trusts, so I'm not sure what the best practice is when issuing acknowledgment/Receipts. Should I hard credit the Trust and soft credit the named donors? Would I issue a thank you letter (no tax statement) to the Trust and then an acknowledgement with tax statement to the donors?
