Help with Show when on adaptive cards?

I want to be able to show a container when a certain box is checked can someone help me?

@Kaylin Loose From my understanding $when cannot be used to control visibility based on user input. $when looks to evaluate the data at the time of rendering the card and then determine whether to display a section or not.
