I am trying to find other schools that using Blackbaud K-12 EMS and also use Microsoft Teams or OneNote Class Notebooks. Also maybe schools that use Microsoft School Data Sync. I am trying to get support to show Blackbaud that there are enough of us to care about supporting integration solutions. Please speak up if this describes your school. Thanks.

    We do.  We're currently trying to integrate Blackbaud with SDS and also Teams/Class Notebooks.  Our high school uses Class Notebooks in every class and having this integration would save our teachers so much time and effort!  The benefits of having this is tremendous!  Not just for rostering, but the grade sync too.  With the OneRoster standard supported on both sides, I'd love to see this happen ASAP!

    We use Blackbaud, OneNote Class Notebooks, and School Data Sync at Open Window School in Bellevue, WA.  More integration solutions would be most welcome!

    We have been an Office 365 school for years.  We use OneNote Class Notebooks and are moving to Teams this summer.  I see now that the old OneNote Class Notebook tie into SIS is being retired on 6/30/20.  OneNote EDU - LMS and SIS Assignments and Grade integration retirement  MC208600,  SO the OneRoster API better get up and running soon!  And the Microsoft School Data Sync hook too.

    Like Carolynn, we are moving to Teams from OneNote Class Notebooks this summer. I see this thread is a couple of months old.. Anyone here currently using OneRoster with Teams? Any insight to offer? Is it acutally integrating with your EM class rosters?

    If you use it with onenote can you give me insight into how you use it and how it works for you. We have one teacher who used onenote at a previous school and loved it. We use google drive and docs products for almost everything and have almost all K-8 on chromebooks.

    YES!!! We use Microsoft and BB and would love to see a more seamless integration. Having the ability to have students submit assignments directly from OneDrive or OneNote is a huge priority for us.

    Hello All,


    We are a Microsoft School and are interested in this integration with Teams (we have been using OneNote for many years and love that - OneNote Class Notebook is built in to Teams and we will continue to use).  I haven't seen any formal documentation on the connections with BB and MS Teams.  If anyone has specifics on how they have connected the two systems (OneRoster, API, etc.) I would love to connect.

    I haven't seen any formal documentation on the connections with BB and MS Teams.  If anyone has specifics on how they have connected the two systems (OneRoster, API, etc.) I would love to connect. 

    The only thing working right now is a CSV export in OneRoster format for import into SDS. The other features like full OneRoster integration is coming some day.

    Hello! 


    Our school is starting to implement OneNote Class Notebooks and it seems Blackbaud used to offer LMS integration through the official Class Notebooks add-on for the OneNote (2016) application. It appears this is missing now, and the trail goes cold in about 2018. It's good to hear there's interest in this again, as the current LTI integration pretty much stops at letting students get first-time access to the notebook.


    Further implementation of this integration would be fantastic and of a world of use to our teachers!
