Using Split Gift Options on OLX

Hello! I hope all is well. Is there anyone that uses gift attributes and comments to split gifts on their donor giving pages for OLX? If so, can you share your donation page?     Hi Lanetta,

    At one point, we did have a gift attribute for which designation a donor wanted. All you have to do is create a gift attribute, use a table, and point you choices in the table section. However, on the back end, you would still have to alter the gift to ensure it goes to the right selection. That current form is not live on our site now, but you should be able to create an OLX form and use the preview function, to see what it would look like. Your other choice is to put multiple funds, and then its a simple drop down for donors to choose from. Sometimes we ask IT to make a webpage but not have it live, so that we can see what it would look like, without donors having access to it. Hope that helps.

    Thanks for the response Danielle. I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the clarification too. Someone told me it would work in the manner you've described, which seems easy to do. The team wanted to see what it would look like from the donor's perspective before building it out. The concern is that using gift attributes might make the donation page look clunky. Thanks again!     Hi @Austen Brown! I hope all is well. I haven't tried it yet, but I was told in order to track gifts by appeal, as a work around, was to build out a gift attribute with the appeal names/codes. Then add it to the donor page. The comments could include any other information the donor would want to provide. I hope that helps.

    How does your organization track online giving when appeals has been sent?
