Can we change the System generated Vendor ID number

you can but you'll need to make sure the business rule is turned off to edit it. I noticed that if the business rule is on where FE auto generates the vendor ID, it makes the field disappear. But if the rule is off, then the field can be edited. If you need to change it, turn that business rule off. Wait for the database to update to that, should be a few minutes. Then make your change. Then if you want to FE to continue autogenerating the Vendor ID, go back to the business rule and turn it back on.
