Prospect Insights Permissions Update

Based on customer feedback, we’ve added more granular control over which Prospect Insights queues a role has access to.

Before this change:

• If a role had “Manage personal portfolio” permission, they would have access to queues with unassigned prospects; they would only see the option to “Assign to me” vs. assign to others.

After this change:

• A role must have the “Access assignment queues” permission in order to access queues with unassigned prospects: Untapped Candidates, Qualified and Unassigned, Nonactive fundraisers, and Disqualified prospects.

• Once a role has the “Access assignment queues” permission, you can then control which fundraisers they can assign to by giving them either “Manage personal portfolio” or “Manage all portfolios” permissions

Rolling out this change:

• We’ve rolled out this update in a way that respects current access. That means if you have access to assignment queues such as Untapped Candidates before this change, we will update your permissions so that you continue to have access to Untapped Candidates after this change. Admins can then update the role to remove access if desired. We want to leave that decision in your hands, and not restrict access on your behalf.
