Our institution is starting the process of launching a digital membership card program, and we're running into some issues. A constituent's Membership ID and Lookup ID don't match, but that makes sense since not every constituent becomes a member (therefore the numbers won't be in the same order). However, we find that…
Our finance team has done a total re-organization on its GL structure - we reconcile by pulling weekly reports for the finance team. It's really time consuming for them and have asked how we might accomplish an easier, more streamlined approach. I can think of a few ways. * Edit the Fundraising Hierarchy - adding GL codes…
We work with a number of businesses that would like to do discounts for their guests. Is it at all possible for a guest to use a discount code only once and not be active after that? We want the code to just apply to that business and the discount for one transaction only per guest and not be a public option.
I'm beginning to think this is impossible. So I'm putting this out to the community to see if it can be done. I've tried…
Hello, everyone! My organization is looking into using text-to-give in future fundraising efforts. For those of you out there who use it, who do you use and what has your experience been with it?
We have several transactions that were posted and reversed and posted and reversed…over several months…and I need to pull a report that will show what G/L accounts this amount has gone in and out of. Any canned reports? I can't find one. Thanks!
Have we missed the conversation on tap pay? Is this available with blackbaud Altru? The world has changed and we are in the dark ages it seems.
I know about “gives anonymously” and “anonymous donor” - we have a transformational gift donor who is anonymous within our organization - identity is only known to maybe 4 staff? We use the prospect and prospect plans modules to track prospect activity and moves, and I'm trying to think of how we can keep track of these…
Do you have a workaround to charge tax on only part of an event ticket? Say your total event ticket is $100 and tax is only charged on $60 of the ticket while the other $40 is not taxed. We host dinner events that include a ticket to other events happening at our museum. So the catered part of the ticket is taxable income…
I am trying to ascertain how many of our memberships from last year were from lapsed members - is there a way to separate those numbers out?
