Northfield Mount Hermon seeks a qualified individual to provide the leadership, vision, planning, and management of information technology systems and services for Northfield Mount Hermon. The IT Director will partner with constituencies across campus to set strategic direction and be involved with the implementation of technology, infrastructure, and data security initiatives. This position will oversee the IT budget and supervise a staff of technical professionals to provide support for academic and administrative functions of the school. The Director will ensure appropriate information security and data privacy while prioritizing and promoting a culture of customer service and best practices.


The successful applicant will have a minimum of seven years experience in technology management, preferably in an educational environment and in progressively responsible roles, and a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Educational Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory and staff development skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community are required. An extensive technical background, including familiarity with various administrative applications and operating systems, as well as Google platforms, is preferred. Applicants should have a valid driver's license and the flexibility to be on call as needed.
