Where do you get your good news?
Elizabeth Johnson
YouTube offered up
Some Good News
to me on my home page last week. I've had fun sharing it. I know there are other sources of good news out there. What are your favorites?

I love SGN!
The UpliftingNews subreddit usually has some good news and happy commentary about those news stories.

Note that other sub-sections of Reddit aren't always nice and friendly (so you may want to avoid wandering to other subreddits), but UpliftingNews is usually a happy one. The more users agree that a story is uplifting, the more the users vote "up" for it. You'll see the vote counts to the left of each story's title.
On YouTube, I also like listening to music videos that have parody lyrics for COVID-19. When I find a new one that's good, I share it with my parents and other family. They share new ones with me that they find too. My parents both recently retired from working in healthcare, so I'm grateful they're not on the front lines right now, but many of their friends are. Upbeat music and humor sometimes helps beat that stress. I got my love of music from my dad, who is also a talented musician. There are many professional and amateur musicians and videographers using their talents to make people smile. For example, Chris Mann (who was on The Voice back in 2012) has published some music videos during COVID-19 that I've really enjoyed.

It's not news, but it is fun!
Some co-workers also have a channel on our internal messaging tool where we post things we're grateful for. I set a reminder on my calendar to read some of the new entries at the end of the day or to add my own. It's not news, but it is uplifting and personal.

We've been calling our donors everyday and posting their good news internally to keep all of our remaining staff up beat and excited that good things are happening in this world. It's been fun to hear all the stories.

I love love love your suggestion - I don't really spend a lot of time on Reddit and have added a short cut to this right after my links to check on numbers for VT, USA, and the World in respect to the virus. So I can track the worst and then be reminded of the best.

SGN just keeps getting better! I just got caught up there.
