Collecting Demographic information on race, ethnicity, gender and age

We are currently preparing to survey our members on race, ethnicity, gender and age. We are wondering how organizations store this information in RE and how you identify gender when it only provides male / female as options.

    BB has taken the lock off the gender field options. In Configuration > Tables, it's possible to add other options. (We are hosted USA org.)


    We repurposed two of the unused fields on the Bio 2 tab to store Race and Ethnicity.  We created tables for these fields based on US Census reporting options. Note, these fields do not seem to be viewable in NXT.  If you need to see this info from that platform, you may need to use attributes/custom fields.
