Tea, coffee or something else in your tea cup or mug?

Howdy friends,

I have been enjoying different "tea cups" to drink out of this year, which got me thinking. Just for fun what do you all drink in a "tea cup" or mug?

I drink green tea, peppermint tea, ginger tea, ashwaghanda tea, espresso w/oat milk (a cortado or a wet cappuccino  to be exact) and last but not least HOT Chocolate - yummy!!

What about you?

Mugs, handmade are the best! I drink both, tea and coffee. Favorite drinks: Coffee (with Almond Milk Creamer), London Fog Latte (Earl Gray with Oak Milk), and Chai Latte (Oregon Chai with Oak Milk).
  • I do drink coffee a lot, but lately I have been making Taro Boba Tea at home.  I love Taro tea!
  • I drink coffee, mostly. It has to be Cafe Du Monde with chickory. That's like a recent in life development!

    TEA!!!!

Mostly regular old PG tips teabags, but sometimes I'll bust out the Russian Caravan tea or decaf Earl Grey. Once in a while I'll have mint or camomile.

Tea leaves-wise though.... Earl Grey primarily, Russian Samovar tea (which is a bit like the Russian Caravan tea, but the place I was buying tea didn't have that) and then uh... before Christmas I might have gone a bit wild on the Bird & Blend website and I've got a STACK of sample packets to work my way through. So far from that stash, the Peppermint Creme has been great - and that's a blend of milk oolong, cocoa and peppermint.

And then, also a selection of various teas from the Chinese side of the family where none of the labels are in English so I'm never sure what I'm drinking other than "maybe it's jasmine? maybe it's oolong? it's definitely not chrysanthemum"

Other than that, I like hot chocolate or Milo on occasion. :D

Oh. I did get a tea advent calendar last week in the sales....
  • Coffee!......nothing added so you get the full bold flavor from the freshly ground beans ?
  • Black coffee. As Garry Haack‍ mentioned, you get so many flavors straight from d'beans. Tasty.
  • Husband drinks coffee and tea, I drink coffee. We try different blends from the roasters in our area. No matchy-matchy mugs, either. The weirder, the better.
  • It's been pretty chilly in Charleston lately so I've been enjoying my Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa and once in a while an Espresso with frothy milk.
