Hi,

Has anyone used JG as a platform to host their virtual run? We are going to hold a run and want to add platform for guests/participants to fundraise by the mile.

Hi Heidi Schlicker‍ We have had a lot of organizations host walks, runs, 5k, or other various challenges. You can create a campaign on Blackbaud Peer-to-Peer Fundraising™, powered by JustGiving® and encourage your participants to track their fitness or running using the Strava app through their personal page. Data shows those who track their training mileage and event course raise more money than those who do not! If you want the miles to roll up (together, we ran 5,000 miles and raised $5,000) and all show on the campaign page, then you should talk with your account executive about our virtual events webpages; they are an additional cost but make quite the impression!
