Position Summary:

The Development Associate is responsible for maintaining the financial and development accounting systems and processes of the school, as well as coordinating on projects and processes with the business office. Attention to detail and time management are essential to success in this position. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with a diverse community while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Advancement:

Coordinate Advancement Office activities

Perform all gift processing: ensuring all gifts are acknowledged in a timely and accurate manner

Database management: oversees all donor records including maintenance, quality assurance, and tracking; provide accurate, timely reporting and support to Advancement staff

Organize stewardship activities and calendar.

Business Office:

Learn Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, to act as back up for these functions.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising administrator.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or the international equivalent with a focus on related field

Previous independent school and/or blackbaud experience a plus
