Development Coordinator

SUMMARY

Performs and coordinates essential functions of the development department to support the fundraising activities of the CICOA Foundation by executing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Serve as administrator and manage the Raiser’s Edge donor database, i.e., gift entry, data entry, queries and reports. Process and maintain records on all CICOA and CICOA Foundation gifts, pledges, and solicitation transactions. Utilize and maintain Raiser’s Edge support of the CICOA website for on-line contributions and registrations.

Prepare and maintain financial, demographic and statistical reports for management as well as for fiscal department weekly, monthly or as needed.

. Participate in the planning and execution of special fundraising and community awareness events. Provide data lists for invitations, track RSVP’s in Raiser’s Edge event module, and provide reporting. Provide support to fundraising committees. Provide event day support with set up, guest registration and overall guest experience.

Read and route incoming mail. Provide weekly donor list for gift acknowledgement and accuracy review. Compose and prepare routine correspondence. Maintain department files both electronic and paper.

Respond to incoming and outgoing phone and e-mail inquiries by providing information or forwarding to appropriate staff. Communicate with donors as needed for database accuracy.

Attend and assist with meeting logistics and preparation for specific committees. Provide minutes for various committees and subcommittees as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree or three (3) or more years of fundraising experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Interest in continual learning experiences.
