YOUR TOP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will manage a portfolio of around 500 mid-level donors, providing thoughtful stewardship focused on retention-based philanthropy.
  • You will partner with our marketing team to develop engagement opportunities and materials targeted to growing relationships with our mid-level donors.
  • You will collaborate with the Senior Director of Leadership Giving to develop and implement a plan to strengthen our mid- and major-level giving pipelines.
  • You will ensure that all donor data is accurately updated in the donor database.
  • You will lead or participate in devotions, prayers, or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of practical experience or a combination of education and experience in fundraising or development.
  • Experience with mid-level donor work is a plus.
  • You are proficient with CRM systems, such as Raiser’s Edge, or you quickly learn computer apps.
  • You are highly results-oriented and enjoy fulfilling donor interests while achieving fundraising goals.
  • You have superior communication skills with the ability to effectively express the need for and benefit of supporting Phoenix Rescue Mission.
  • You are a team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • You have a solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.
