Chuckle Challenge

As we all get ready to dive into the mad end-of-year season, sometimes a chuckle is the best pick-me-up. Let's have a humor challenge!

How it works:

  • Post a funny, fundraising-themed comic, joke, or video.
  • Vote for your favorites.

@Crystal Bruce, can you give a shout-out to the most votes?

Comments

  • @Faith Murray I love this so much! I can do better than a shout-out. Each poster will get 1,000 points and we could even feature this in the feature slider. <3

  • I love comic artist Yehuda Devir.

  • Susie was exhausted after setting up the fundraiser.

A month before the event she went to the florist to order some arrangements and had to wait 15 minutes in the flower line.

A week before the event she went to pick up the sponsor signs and had to wait 30 minutes in the sign printer’s line.

The day of the event she had to pick up the food from a restaurant downtown and waited 20 minutes in the restaurant line.

Things finally came together, and she was able to make it to the fundraiser. She decided to celebrate with some punch. She went over to the punch bowl and there was no punch line.

  • I clearly did not read the instructions! Fundraising themed, oops.

  • Beth Hudson:

Obviously, you're not alone in this. Guilty as well!

  • @Heather MacKenzie and @Beth Hudson, maybe not fundraising-themed, but still funny! I could totally relate to the changing-station scene. My Dad actually had several Calvin and Hobbs comic books and we would read them all the time growing up. And now that I'm a parent, I find myself teasing my kids the same way as Calvin's dad, lol. ?

  • This made me chuckle and having attended and currently working at a Catholic school, it tickles my funny bone even more!
