Events and Marketing Coord. - Suburban Hospital Foundation

The Events and Marketing Coordinator will work within the Suburban Hospital Foundation, which serves as the fundraising arm of Suburban Hospital. The Foundation is focused on raising funds for capital projects, cutting-edge programs, nursing education, enhanced clinical programming and state-of-the-art technology.

The Events and Marketing Coordinator supports the development/fundraising initiatives of the Suburban Hospital Foundation through the planning, coordination, and execution of special events. Responsible for developing and implementing marketing communication strategies in an effort to elevate the hospital's philanthropic profile among leading donors, prospects, friends, employees and physicians.

  • Coordinates activities and formulates strategies related to all event programs
  • Creates and manages event budgets ensuring expenses stay within established budget and processes all invoices related to event programs
  • Identifies and solicits corporate event sponsors for monetary contributions as well as to secure auction/raffle items as appropriate
  • Serves as the primary staff liaison for event vendors and volunteer committees
  • In collaboration with the hospital's marketing department, ensures that Suburban Hospital Foundation’s brand and messaging is consistent and effective
  • Develop Foundation marketing materials (brochures, funding opportunity cut sheets, proposal templates, website material, etc.)
  • Manage the Foundation’s website and social media presence, as well as the content for the digital display monitor associated with donor recognition

Hours:

  • Full Time, 40hrs per week
  • 8:30a - 5:00p
  • Mon. - Fri.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Three to five years experience working in development or related field
