Job Responsibilities
The Statistical and Research Analyst III is responsible for creating and managing an effective infrastructure to support the data needs, donor information, gift processing, and prospect management for the Office of Philanthropy team. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Raiser’s Edge database, including technology management and ensuring that the database accurately and effectively captures alumni and donor information and generates accurate financial and analytical reports. The Analyst ensures timely and accurate gift processing, donor acknowledgement, and produces reports as requested. The Analyst will also assist with the identification, verification and tracking of potential major gift prospects through database screening processes. The Analyst reports to the Associate Vice President for the Office of Philanthropy/CEO MTC Foundation.

This position is located on the Harbison Campus in the Office of Philanthropy.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional work experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of quantified data.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within higher education or non-profit environment. Comfort with querying, exporting, and manipulating large data sets in a database; strong preference given to candidates with Raisers Edge and NetCommunity Online experience. Proficiency in gift processing, prospect and constituent management, data imports and exports, developing reports. Knowledge of the fund-raising process and the concept of donor relations.
