The Phillips Collection (www.phillipscollection.org), America's first museum of modern art is currently seeking a full-time Controller.

OBJECTIVE:

The Controller assumes primary responsibility for managing general ledger activity, managing Finance processes and procedures and training thereon, managing the monthly closing and reconciliation process, preparation of monthly financial statements, and liaison between Finance and the other museum departments. The Controller will also provide support, guidance, and management of the Finance staff members. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and works closely with the other finance and museum staff to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information provided.
