Operations & Database Coordinator - Skokie, IL

The LES TURNER ALS FOUNDATION is in search of an Operations and Database Coordinator. The position is Hybrid in Skokie, IL This is a full-time, permanent position starting at $55,000 plus benefits.

Working as part of one of the longest-serving ALS groups in the country, the Operations and Database Coordinator will be the lead database processing of all incoming donations and accounts payable as well as maintain database hygiene, data collection, create queries and exports for reporting and mailing lists, review all coding to ensure it follows established guidelines. During off peak seasons, this person will also help support other aspects of the organization such as operations and events. This role will remain hybrid for the long term.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge required
  • 2+ years of fundraising, data entry or nonprofit operations experience required
  • Excellent communication skills

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Create and maintain constituent records in Raiser’s Edge
  • Assist with online donation maintenance including reporting
  • Oversee RE data health and hygiene
  • Process gifts in Luminate and upload into RE
  • Ensure online, check and credit card gifts are processed daily and uploaded into RE
  • Complete donor communication such as memorial cards and acknowledgement letters
  • Process all payables and record them in Financial Edge.
  • Design and run reports for various departments in Raiser’s Edge
  • Assist in coordinating board and committee meetings as needed
  • Participate in and assist with special events and external activities as needed
  • Provide general office staff support
