The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International is hiring a Database and Gift Processing Specialist.

The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund is dedicated to the conservation and protection of gorillas and their habitats in Africa. We are committed to promoting continued research on the gorillas and their threatened ecosystems and to educating the world about their relevance. In collaboration with government agencies and other international partners, we also assist communities through education, health, training and development initiatives. We are based in Atlanta, Georgia, with field and program headquarters in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Position Summary
The Database and Gift Processing Specialist is responsible for gift processing, donor gift fulfillment and all gift acknowledgements. He or she will also proactively assist in managing and maintaining current and accurate constituent records, developing, and improving procedures for efficient and timely data input, revenue recognition and commitment processes. Working with the Director of Data and Donor Information, he or she will generate criteria-based queries and deliver segmented lists for fundraising campaigns, online gift fulfillment, direct mail solicitations and other communications. Other tasks include matching gift verification, generating fundraising reports, assisting with monthly reconciliation between Development and Finance departments, recruiting, supervising and directing volunteers with assigned projects.
The Database and Gift Processing Specialist reports directly to the Director of Data and Donor Information.
