Communications and Learning Assistant - Hybrid/London / Part Time

Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF) is one of the largest independent grant-making organisations in the UK, who help people overcome disadvantage and lack of opportunity, so that they can realise their potential and enjoy fulfilling and creative lives. They have a particular interest in supporting young people and a strong belief in the importance of the arts and social justice, which is the golden thread that links all their work.

As the Communications and Learning Assistant you will support the communications, and evidence and learning sub-teams to share the impact of PHF's work with internal and external stakeholders. Some key responsibilities include, working closely with the wider team to maintain social media channels, drafting and editing concise descriptions of grants made along with providing administrative support for events planning. You will be a crucial member of a small and busy team, helping to streamline communications and make it more effective.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent comprehension and written skills, with an ability to summarise information accurately using plain English. You will also have the ability to draft, proof and edit written content for a range of audiences as well as be comfortable using a complex database for simple tasks and processes.
