The Division of College Advancement at SUNY Oneonta invites applications for the position of Advancement Database Manager and Donor Researcher. Reporting to the Director of Development, expectations include serving as primary administrator for SUNY Oneonta's alumni and donor constituent relationship management (CRM) database, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, and conducting donor research for the benefit of fundraising staff.

The Division of College Advancement includes the offices of Development & Fundraising, Alumni Engagement, and the College at Oneonta Foundation, whose mission is to raise and administer gifts and grants to enhance the academic status of the College through endowment, scholarships, and institutional programs. Duties include but not limited to: administer the College's alumni and donor database, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, in a manner that ensures the integrity of all data and maximizes charitable giving initiatives and alumni engagement. This includes importing new parent, student, and recent graduate data from the institutional database; utilizing database administrative tools to manage user security permissions; active monitoring of data integrity; training College Advancement staff in the effective use of the Raiser's Edge database; executing complex queries, exports, and custom reports; ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and analytical reports; facilitating large-scale constituent record updates; and serving as primary contact for Blackbaud contract management.

This position also assists in the identification of annual, major, and planned giving donors by using various resources to gather and complete professional donor and prospective donor research.

Requirements:
Required qualifications: bachelor's degree at time of hire; two or more years professional experience utilizing a constituent relationship management (CRM) software program; technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred: two or more years of progressive database management experience; professional use of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and database view; experience using Omatic or similar data integration programs; demonstrated proficiency of creating and executing data imports, exports, queries, and reports; experience conducting donor and prospective donor research; experience working with and serving diverse populations.
