The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, PA

Looking for a temp for my FMLA leave in early April through July (exact dates TBD). This person could be hybrid/remote. Experience with Blackbaud K-12 products is preferred. Happy to chat - if interested please email resume to afoltiny@shipleyschool.org.

  • Update ShipleyNet (core) with any data changes for Current parents, students, colleagues*
  • Help parents that are locked out of ShipleyNet (send them instructions to reset pw)
  • Provide materials to assist in all-school mailings (paper or digital) - this is primarily digital and most of the lists are already created in core
  • Assist with creating and running various reports and lists (most of these are already created and Blackbaud support can help create new ones if needed)
  • Manage and prepare records for new families in core. This includes creating and distributing new family forms and information (both ShipleyNet forms). *
    • Confidential Information Summary Forms*
    • Grandparent forms*
    • Adding Shipley email addresses to NEW student records and entering Student ID #s*
  • Assist divisions with any mailings/communications to new families including back-to-school information
  • Update data changes from returned forms*
  • Work with Registrar to complete end-of-academic-year processes for all students - this is quick but important- just a few clicks! Should be done with another person just as a second set of eyes
    • Withdrawal students leaving at end-of-year
    • Process status changes (enrolled to new; new to present)
    • Promote Students a grade level
  • Create records for new faculty members in ShipleyNet*
  • Communicate data changes to Development & Business Office
  • Serve as a backup pushpage sender
  • Serve as a liaison for all school data questions and needs - This just means contacting Blackbaud Support and then relaying information to the person that had the question. There is a chat feature so you wouldn’t need to be on the phone - can do from your computer.

*This would be the bulk of the work
