BAM Essentials Package - Looking for a CUUI workaround for Institutional Awards

We are in the onboarding process with BAM (Essentials Package) we do not have the Create Users Upon Import (CUII). Our school uses Colleague (Ellucian product) to award institutional scholarships, these are mainly merit based. With the BAM package we have the student has to use the SSO for their information to popluate in BAM. Our instutional financial aid shcholarhip awarding team is not a fan of making the student login to generate their student information. They say it is hard enough to get the students to jump through all the other hoops in our processes. Has anyone found a workaround where the student does not have to login to BAM?

    @Sherry Surmont I'm interested in responses you get to this. CUUI used to be able to be added on as a separate feature, but now is only available in a bundle or a more costly package. Our community college needs the functionality of CUUI as you have explained in your post, but simply can't afford, and doesn't need, the advanced functionality of the bells and whistles of the larger packages. We're in the same boat.
