Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA is looking for a Grants and Database Manager in our Development department!

This position plays a critical role in the Development team’s grant and database operations by: identifying and tracking current and potential individual donors, corporations, and foundations; researching and securing grant opportunities; drafting and submitting grant outcome statements; manage the donor database (Raiser’s Edge, NXT) to produce accurate reports and provide analysis of gifts, donors and trends in fundraising efforts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with the State and local United Ways across our 30-county footprint to solicit grant and workplace giving initiatives.
• Submit well-written grant proposals to foundation, corporate, and government funders.
• Manage grants received and create reports.
• Collaborate with various departments for tracking and reporting.
• Be our subject matter expert on our donor database - including system maintenance, data integrity, analysis, training, and reporting.
• Solicit sponsorships for special events.
• Attend and provide support for special events as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• Strong organizational, time management, and project/grant management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in this field.
• Minimum two years of grant writing, grant management, and prospecting research experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and virtual meeting platforms. Raiser’s Edge and/or other donor database experience preferred.
• Work a flexible schedule, to include nights and weekends as needed.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; access to reliable transportation required. Travel throughout the council, as needed.

Salary range: $55,000-65,000 per year, depending on experience - plus our AMAZING benefit package!!
