Authenticating 3rd party for ACH donation deposits with Plaid

With so many DAFs and other third parties moving to ACH deposits instead of physical checks, we have a few who require that we authenticate our ACH information using Plaid. Our finance department has not connected our account with these companies due to concerns about security. Do any of you have a viewpoint or policy you could share on this topic? Thank you.
