@Kim WardSneaking in here - the grandson doesn't go back until September 5. He'll be in K-5 - at the “top” of the class in his Montessori program (K-3 through K-5 are in the same classroom). So, August is his last month of Summer in Wisconsin.

@Kim Ward we are in northern Kentucky and our youngest starts her senior year on the 16th. Our older daughter returns to college in southern Michigan that begins on the 28th.

@Kim Ward, Many schools in Arizona have switched to a modified year-round schedule, so they returned July 19 (in the midst of a 31-day streak of temps above 110 degrees – no outdoor recess for them!). My daughter is in high school and returns August 10 (when it's still expected to top 110 degrees).
