Delete Gift From Committed Batch

I duplicated a gift and it is appearing in two committed batches. Can I delete the gift from one of the batches?

@Kendra Mastain Where you need to be sure gift is deleted (assuming you have rights to delete is on the gift tab of the constituent record. As with two commitments, it is there twice.

If you need it deleted in the batch, open one of the batches, go to batch design and mark batch as a recurring batch, Save, delete the erroneous row, open batch design and uncheck that batch is recurring and save. You will still need to delete record on the constituent gift tab. Changes to a committed batch do not change gift records on gift tab in my experience.

I think that will work.

Thank you for responding. Everything went well until I tried to save the batch. The option to save doesn't appear.

Have you tried to go to the donor record and adjust the gift?
