Dereck Kalish

I have a considerable background in database architecture and operations, most notably in Development / Advancement / Philanthropy and Information Technology. My 19 plus years of experience in data systems, demonstrates a strong interest and drive for structure and organization to better use databases. My background is with data analysis and database management from multiple types of organizations from arts, education, and healthcare. My knowledge accompanied with an understanding of Development business would also prove to be essential. I have completed Blackbaud certification for Raiser’s Edge, and I am quite knowledgeable with their solutions, along with general relational databases.

Having prior experience in other related departments, allows me to have the knowledge and vocabulary needed to quickly and accurately work with other departments. While working in Development, I have often been the liaison for IT and Finance.

I can assist with the following:

• Expert in all facets of Raiser's Edge data cleanup and management (queries, lists, reports, imports, duplicate records, cleanup)
• Well-versed in using Omatic Cloud with Raiser's Edge to transfer data
• Gift Entry
• Reporting/Dashboard
• Training

I am available for remote and/ hybrid work or positions in the greater Boston area.
