Just for Fun: Favorite Air Fryer Recipe

My mom is getting her first air fryer and she is collecting favorite things to cook. What are some of your favorite things to cook in an air fryer?

@Crystal Bruce - Love my air fryer! Especially in the summer when we try to avoid using the oven. Here are two of my favorites:

“Fried” Green Beans
1lb green beans
Salt/Pepper
Oil

1. Wash and trim the green beans.
2. Lightly coat in oil and season with salt/pepper. Toss to evenly distribute. (This can be be done directly within the air fryer if you don't want to create additional dishes to clean).
3. Cook at 375 for 8 min, or until crispy.
4. Cool for a few minutes and then serve!

Perfect Bacon
4-6 strips of thick cut bacon

1. Place evenly within the tray. I usually put these in so the edges are lightly touching.
2. Cook at 350 for 8-10 min (10-12 if butcher cut). Half way through, flip the bacon.
3. Once cooked to perfection remove and place on a paper towel.
4. Dab with a paper towel and then serve!

(Tip: clean the air fryer tray immediately, it's easier to deal with the drippings while they are liquid.)

@Crystal Bruce A very simple thing I do all the time - get a pack of chicken tenderloins, slice off the gristle and membrane, cover both sides generously in Tajin, and cook for about 15 minutes, flipping all the pieces over and then finishing off for an add'l 5 minutes. Tasty and usually lasts the whole week re: meal prep. Pair with broccoli, rice, or whatever.

@Crystal Bruce Roasted potatoes! I never season them the same way twice, but I love how crispy they get in the air fryer.

@Crystal Bruce similar to Austen, I love cooking fresh broccoli in mine. After cleaning and cutting it to the tops, I just spray it with some olive oil and pop it in the tray for about 10 minutes around 350* or so.

@Crystal Bruce Loving this thread as my air fryer collects more dust than I like to admit….
Here's a sweet treat option:

Get a tin of biscuits/croissants or whatever dough your heart desires. Make a little pocket in the dough and wrap the dough around a piece of Hershey's chocolate (or Reese's or really any chocolate) You can also slather some Nutella on those bad boys before the chocolate OK NOW IM DROOLING

Pop those bad boys in the air fyer and brush a bit of melted butter on top and bake at 325 for 4-5 minutes.
